hey guys. decided to try out wordpress after sooo many years on blogger.
finally back in s’pore! it seems so fast that 2 months have passed. i had a total blast! did many things i never dreamed i would do. haha.
canada was wonderful! it was coldddd as well. which i totally didn’t mind when compared to the freaking heat back home. im like melting everyday. and did i mention the jetlag is killing me. i wake up at 3/4 am and im like totally awake! holy cow la. anyways, i really envy the lifestyle of my aunt and uncle there. they lead a simple enough life, but they are happy. and i can feel their joy in enjoying the simple things in life. i hope that one day my life will be like that as well. from london to toronto to ottawa to niagara falls. ontario was a sight to behold. meeting old friends, making new ones. isn’t this what life is suppose to be.
ok. and on to the states. st augustine is the oldest city in USA. the first to be found by spanish explorers. the beach down the road is so sparkling and vibrant. the ocean streatches miles and miles into the horizon and the shoreline is never ending. the neighbours are so friendly they even offer to mow your grass. and the shopping is MADNESS! why doesn’t s’pore have factory outlets man! seriously if i had brought more money, i would have spent every penny of it. all your brand names from ralph lauren to calvin klien to coach. you name it, they have it. at spanking low prices. haha
and to round off the trip, who can miss out on disney when your in florida! disneyland was a dream come true. wasn’t sure i was going there in the first place cus it was mightly expensive to get a hotel and the park tickets. but lucky me, i had a friend who happens to be interning at disney when i was there, and she got me in free! im like ‘how lucky can i get!’ from magic kingdom to epcot and animal kingdom to hollywood studios, everything was like a dream. universal studios’ islands of adventure had the most wicked rides ever! i wonder what would the s’pore version be like? if its even close to what it is in the states, i bet it’s gonna be a total sell-out!
anyways, this concludes my once-in-a-lifetime trip. i doubt i’ll be heading north anytime soon. next up, the adventures of europe! can’t wait.
